We believe in Jesus Christ.
Few people deny that Jesus was a real man of Nazareth.  Some claim He was simply a wise and noble man, perhaps even one of the wisest men who ever lived, but nothing more.  We believe He was more than this; We believe Jesus was both the Son of God and the Son of man!  That is to say that Jesus was God come in the flesh, and He possessed the character and attributes of deity!  While there is much evidence for Jesus’ deity, the most convincing evidence lays in the miracles Jesus performed on earth, above all His miracle of His resurrection from the dead!  Many men risked their very lives to bring the message of Christ to the world, and their accounts are in the New Testament documents.

We believe the Bible.
We believe that the Bible is the word of God (1 Thess. 2:13) penned by inspired men (2 Tim. 3:16), and we use it as our only source of doctrine or religious guide.  It contains the truth about God and man, the good news about Jesus Christ our Savior (1 Cor. 15:1-8), and it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16), making it sufficient to equip us for every good work in the Lord’s service (2 Tim. 3:17).  The Old Testament was written for our learning (Rom. 15:4), and the New Testament sets forth the pattern for our salvation, work, and worship as disciples of Christ.  Without the Bible, we would lack in knowledge of God, as He has chosen this form of inspired written word to convey His will, His Son, and our work to us.
